An E30? Or just a ‘vert?

The ultimate tanning machine, (the E46 convertables are beautiful too especially in that Laguna Seca Blau...)

An E30, or an E30 vert. I don’t generally like how convertibles look, but I love driving and riding in them

Never really was a convertible guy, unless hardtop. Do love targas and t-tops though.

The torsional rigidity of convertibles has always bothered me even since high school. Yup I’m the type to enjoy telling people about the ideal refrigeration cycle.

There is something yuppie 80's about E30 Vert.

Yeah I'm not usually, I just feel differently when I'm actually in one

It bothers me too, but realistically I'd never notice with how I drive. I just want one as a summer cruiser. Tomorrow I'll feel differently I'm sure

That's part of why I don't like how they look

Taking a convertible on a summer cruise is a fantastic idea. It really doesn’t even matter what kind of convertible it is. Before I picked up my Miata, the only convertible driving I had done was in a friend’s VW Cabrio and my dad’s Sebring. Even the Sebring was fun on a summer night if you had the right company with you (both passengers and a soundtrack). That being said, I love my Miata a lot more than that Sebring because I don’t hardly have to slow down for corners on a nice twisty backroad, but I’m still not pushing it to it’s limits.
TL;DR you should totally get the BMW ‘vert.
